Work
When did you start working at Powell Tate?
August of 2008.
What’s the best piece of career advice you’ve ever gotten?
When things seem overwhelming and spinning around you, stop and take a few deep breaths. It’s amazing how much stopping for a moment in the middle of craziness can help.
What’s the coolest (or weirdest) place a project has taken you?
I’ve had many great travel experiences, but jumping off the 34-foot tower at Fort Bragg remains a highlight for me.
What’s the best thing you’ve seen happen inside Powell Tate office?
The team structure in action – there is truly no I in Team.
If you weren’t working in this industry, what would you want to do?
Leading the alumni relations team at my alma mater, Ohio University.
Life
What’s something surprising people might not know about you?
I’m in the season finale of America’s Next Top Model. Blink and you’ll miss me!
What’s your favorite way to unwind in your free time?
Listening to my favorite podcasts on a long walk.
Where would you love to travel in the world to gain inspiration?
Greece and Croatia are top of my list.
What’s your favorite thing about your hometown?
The public library in Norwood, MA. It’s a beautiful building over 120 years old with so much character. They put on great events when I was a kid.
Who is someone that inspires you right now?
My 17-year-old nephew. I love the conversations we’ve been having for years. His questions and insights inspire me in so many ways and I love being a part of his journey toward reaching his goals.
